Alexander Chen is mostly known for his Boy In Static project, which led him to release music on Markus Acher (The Notwist)'s Alien Transistor label as well as tour around the US opening for 13 & God. This time around, Alexander has shed his Boy In Static persona and taken on a new one, The Consulate General. His debut record Person Number came out yesterday on Circle Into Square records. The record features appearances from members of Slowdive, Montag, Sole & The Skyrider Band and Misha. Alexander also has a new EP coming out next month titled What Time Is It Now, which features remixes from Blue Sky Black Death, Lymbyc System & T.H. White.
